Susan M. Madison
Susan Madison, of Escondido, was appointed to the State Independent
Living Council on February 20, 2008.
She is the Disability Services Coordinator with the City of San Diego and oversees ADA compliance on all programs, services and activities on behalf of the City. With over 25 years of experience in the disability field, she has been a disability consultant specializing in training, facilitation, organizational development and leadership, coordinated the San Diego Disability Coalition and managed a disability mentoring program.
Susan served at the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD) managing their Technical Assistance Project for 5 years and was selected as the National Council on Disability’s Public Policy Fellow in 2000. She is the former Executive Director for Arizona’s Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities.
