Lois Williams, MS
Statewide Program Administrator, Department of Mental Health
Lois Williams is an Ex-Officio member representing the California Department of Mental Health’s Director, Dr. Stephen Mayberg. Among her other duties at DMH, she serves as lead of the Early Mental Health Initiative (EMHI) program, department representative for Olmstead, and member of the DMH Department Operations Center (for emergency response).
Lois has been a state employee for nearly 30 years, having worked in the areas of mental health, public health, emergency medical services, disaster medical response, injury prevention and traffic safety, and low-income energy assistance. She has her MS in Counseling, trained as an EMT, and is married with two grown children. Serving as an Ex-Officio member gives her something else to converse with her husband Rob (Schladale) about, since he worked with SILC during his years at CHHS.
